Our family enjoyed our stay at this mountain home for a football weekend. The house was spacious and clean. It was helpful having a refrigerator in the kitchen as well as one in the basement for all of our tailgating food. The views are gorgeous and the porch is perfect for relaxing. Was an easy drive to the stadium as well. The owner is very accommodating and made sure all of our needs were taken care of prior to arrival.
- Julie B.My family, 5 adults and a 3yr.old baby boy, enjoyed a lovely New Years weekend in this fine home at Lake Jocassee. Could not participate in outdoor activities, but loved the comfort of the arcitecture and decor of this very well appointed home. Until the fog rolled in, the view was spectacular. Host very accomadating and communicative. We know this area and their are wonderful fun towns and cities for day trips.
A good find!
- Suzanne G.We rented this home so all of our family could be under one roof as we commuted to and from Clemson University to attend our daughter's graduation. Our group included my in-laws, my mom, my husband and myself. Everyone had a room of their own and the spacious living area and dining area afforded us the opportunity to enjoy a TV show together as well. The house is aptly named "morning glory" as we saw a spectacular sunrise and enjoyed scenic views of the area when traversing the hilly terrain to reach our destination. The home itself is lovely, with incredible attention to detail in its craftsmanship and design. The kitchen was also stocked with spices and coffee, olive oil etc. and all the dishes, pots, pans and storage containers you would need. We did a quick inventory before going to the store and found that we only needed the basic perishables for our stay, since we only ate breakfast at the house. The owners are very accommodating and offered great ideas for local touring and sights. We felt at home from the moment we arrived and it seemed more like we were staying at a friend's home rather than a stranger's. If you are considering this home for a short or long term stay, you cannot go wrong with this property or the owners.
- Lisa D.2nd stay. Love the home!
- Stacie T.This home is absolutely gorgeous! It is well equipped with anything you need. We loved sitting on the back porch and enjoying the beautiful views and sounds of nature. The location was perfect for the activities we wanted to do in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
- Melissa H.Excellent house, beautifully decorated. Owner has thought of every detail, including extras that are sometimes over looked. The pictures do not do the house justice, amazing views, great patio and plenty of parking.
Would recommend for family gatherings, plenty of space for everyone.
- Kimberly H.Great stay!
- Alex P.Our family spent Labor Day 2017 weekend at this wonderful place. The views were awesome from the back porch. It was clean and plenty of linens and towels for all. The owner was super helpful and made the experience easy. We had friends and family enough room for 8 people to stay comfortable. The location of the house was close to Devil's Fork State Park and Keowee Lake. We enjoyed the entire stay. We would recommend to stay at this home to everyone.
- jeni D.The house was found to be extremely clean and was well appointed with everything needed for an extended stay. Great owners who are very attentive and easy to work with. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.
- Johnny M.We loved staying at Morning Glory. Perfect location to Cashiers, Highlands, Clemson and many waterfalls. Take the scenic drive up 28 to Highlands for a day of shopping and sight seeing.
We will be back! Thanks, Phil for excellent service.
- Robyn B.We (three couples) were in town for the Clemson/Auburn game and stayed at this property. The house was very clean and well stocked with supplies for a long weekend.
